When requesting a presentation, please provide the following information:

  • Date (minimum of two (2) weeks prior notification)
  • Location
  • Participants (Estimate number)
  • Target Audience (e.g., teens, healthcare workers, teachers, etc.) 
  • Topic (e.g., sex trafficking, labor trafficking, internet exploitation/recruitment, etc.)

(Note: NO in-person presentations in 2020 with in-person presentations resuming in 2021.)


HTRA provides training to law enforcement agencies concerning human trafficking identification and investigations, proactive operations development, and relevant information regarding trauma-informed and victim-centered approaches for working with victims of human trafficking.  Training is delegated to appropriate HTRA members through the Core Training Group which is supervised by the HTRA training sergeant, and comprised of the YMCA International, United Against Human Trafficking, the HTRA Task Force Community Awareness Coordinator with select members of the Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition.  If you have questions regarding training or want to schedule training for your agency, please contact us at

Statistical Data

All Open Records Requests for statistical data or other related information may be submitted to and will be forwarded for approval and coordination through HPD’s Office of Planning and Data Governance.  Please note that requests for data specific to a particular HTRA member may be subject to further vetting by that agency.
